What it is
A sequence of visual cues (photos, icons, or written words) that shows the order of activities. Reduces uncertainty and supports transitions.
When to use it
Transitions between activities, new routines, high-anxiety parts of the day, unfamiliar settings.
When NOT to use it
Never as a compliance tool to force through distress. Not a substitute for connection.
